Equipment Demos

Environmental Health and Safety maintains a number of demonstration models for ergonomic equipment. Currently listed on this web page are the traditional task chairs that have been made available. Following an ergonomic assessment, an employee may borrow one of these for a week to see if they find the chair and its features beneficial. Several sizes are available, and the demo will be selected based on the parameters of the employee. If a sample is not available, one will be requested from a vendor. Many vendors are also glad to lend a chair directly to a department upon request.
